LIMITED RELEASE

Lone Point Cellars’ collection of limited-release red wines is small, yet mighty. We created this collection of handcrafted wines with the broad spectrum of tastes among established wine drinkers in mind. For those who prefer a bright, silky wine, our Pinot Noir can’t be beat. Currently, we do not offer discounts on shipments of our vineyard wines. You can, however, get access to regular shipments of Lone Point Cellars’ award-winning handcrafted wines by signing up for our wine club. As a member, you’ll receive up to twenty-four bottles of our wine annually and a ten percent discount on wine and retail. Lone Point Cellars sources the grapes used in crafting its vineyard wines from two Washington state appellations: The Columbia Valley AVA and Red Mountain AVA. The Columbia Valley AVA is Washington state’s largest growing area, encompassing more than eleven million acres. It receives about six to eight inches of rain annually, leaving the area semi-arid. It’s the perfect climate for growing grapes like Merlot and Syrah. The Red Mountain AVA, on the other hand, is much smaller, at only around 2,700 acres in southeast Washington. While small in size, it’s a mighty AVA. It gets hot during the day and cools at night, which leads to balanced grapes and vineyard wines. The Red Mountain AVA is now considered one of the world’s top-growing regions.
Lone Point Cellars’ story began in 1984, when its founders, Jim and Dana Divis, began growing fruit on the Columbia Valley property. After thirty-five years of building one of Washington state’s premier orchards and developing the property from only twelve to two hundred acres today, Jim and Dana decided to open Brewster, Washington’s first winery, in 2019. Since then, they have been on a mission to offer approachable vineyard wines for long-time wine drinkers and those just beginning their journey.
